Black Henbane (Hyoscyamus niger)

Germination/Sowing
- The seeds germinate easily and can be sown indoors in cups/flats or containers. sprinkle seeds on soil (do not cover with dirt). Spray water on seeds/soil to moisten their enviroment. Seeds should start growing within a week or 2. If transplanting outside wait till the last frost in spring before planting.

Datura Moonflower (Datura innoxia)

Germination/Sowing
- Barely cover seeds in dry potting soil and spray water on seeds/soil to moisten their enviroment. Allow to dry out before spraying water again. Do not soak. Continue this routine until seeds germinate which can be 2 to 6 weeks. However, these seeds take 2 weeks most of the time. If transplanting outside wait till the last frost in spring before planting.
Datura is an interesting plant to grow and work with. It can grow either very large or stay small. It preferes well drained soil and not to much wet. Full sun and it will grow bountiful, growing in partial shade it can remain smaller. I've grown in both and both resulted similar which was medium size plant. Do not injest any part of this plant. It is for ornamental, magical use only.
